WORLD READING HABITS – Interactive Data Visualization

Each student had the goal to find a topic relevant and interesting enough to express the year 2020 in some way (we couldn't choose anything related to the pandemic). So since i'm a passionate reader and also getting way more interested in working with books, i took this opportunity to investigate about the theme and find the truth about my inquietations.
Today we do not read only printed books, but also digital ones. My take was to Combine 19th century book aesthetics with the kindle interface, and end up with a hybrid between the two worlds, with the objectivity to reference reading habits in both ways.
This project takes part in the Data Visualization Module in the 3rd year of Communication Design, ESAD
